The new Suunto t1 is a reliable heart rate monitor for those who are just starting their exercise routine. It displays heart rate during exercise, intensity range, kilocalories burned and average and maximum heart rates. In group cycling situations, another cyclist's heart rate may interfere with the functioning of your heart rate monitor, displaying another person's rate or shutting down the device completely. The new coded Suunto t1 heart rate monitor eliminates such interference. If needed, the user can also check and change the code. The heart rate monitor helps cyclists pace themselves on very long rides and directs training to the correct level in more rigorous exertions. In the Suunto t1c, the traditional HR belt has been replaced with a softer Suunto Comfort Belt.
